Join us as we travel to exciting destinations in the Balkan region of Europe with a focus on friendship, fun, learning and discovery.
When travelling with Avantura Tours, you’ll stay in a unique mix of carefully-selected properties, which include small, boutique hotels; centrally-located accommodation; and historic guesthouses for a more authentic experience.
We’re Australians of Macedonian heritage and we love to travel.
The two of us have visited this region countless times and have a ‘locals only’ knowledge of the best places to visit from our own experiences and some hot tips from family and friends.
As a bonus, we also have a good handle on the local language so you can trust us to guide you easily.
Flexibility is a key component of all our tours. Our small tour groups of no more than 10 people, allow us to get off the beaten track and discover interesting places along the way.
We won’t rush you; our itineraries are designed so that you can experience our destinations at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for rest and play.
We have everything covered: international airfares, accommodation, transport, entry fees, sightseeing, breakfast daily and some lunches and dinners because we want you to explore the culinary delights of the local food and produce.
Our inaugural tour will depart in August 2019 and will visit Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro.

We are two cousins passionate about travel and sharing new experiences. Together we have over 40 years experience in the travel industry.
It was an old family wedding photo that was the catalyst for our meeting. Our shared heritage and a discovery that we both had a passion for travel, paved the way for the birth of Avantura.
